Application Process

Step 1 – Read through our staff information pages (Overview, Positions, Training, and Benefits), make sure this is a good fit for you, and prayerfully consider this opportunity. Feel free to contact Mahalia at malexander@alsbom.org with any questions you might have about the position.

Step 2 – Fill out the application. Deadline to apply is December 10th. Any applications received after this date will be considered only if there are any remaining available spots.

Step 3 – Attend Interview Weekend in January. This weekend will include team building experiences, orientation to WorldSong, sessions on our policies, camp tour, and round robin style interviews. If you are unable to attend the weekend, contact Mahalia at malexander@alsbom.org. If there are any spots available after interview weekend we will contact you to schedule an interview.

Step 4 – Pass a clear background check

Step 5 – Inform your references that they will receive an email from us with a link to a reference form. Once we receive at least three (non-family member) references, we will contact you to let you know our decision.

Step 6 - If hired, you will be added to our GroupMe where we will keep you updated on any needed forms. You will also be expected to complete our online training prior to your arrival at camp. Some staff members may be asked to attend advance trainings or certification before pre-camp training.

Step 7 – Prepare for a life changing summer!
